Analysis of diagnostic markers

2021.09.16

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is said to be characterized by impaired communication, social skills, and biased and repetitive behaviors.

ASD population is one of the developmental disorders that is reported to be in rise each year, with estimate of 1 in 54 children in the U.S. in year 2020 (according to the CDC).

Currently, there is no established treatment or quantitative diagnostic method for ASD. Currently, early detection is the key for netter prognosis of affected children.

In our laboratory, we seek for potential biomarker using patient sample-derived exosomes.
